Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026
Launch Plan is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information collected through this website and related communications.
Information we collect
When you join the beta waitlist, we collect the name and email address you provide. We may also receive basic technical information, such as browser type, device information, pages visited, and similar usage data through standard website tools.
How we use information
We use personal information to manage the beta waitlist, respond to inquiries, communicate about Launch Plan, improve the website, and protect the security and integrity of our services.
Student and youth data
The public website is not intended to collect detailed student education records or sensitive student data. If Launch Plan works with schools, districts, or students in a way that involves education records or information from children, additional notices, agreements, permissions, and safeguards may apply, including requirements under laws such as FERPA and COPPA where applicable.
FERPA and school-provided data
When Launch Plan receives student information from or on behalf of a school or district that is subject to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Launch Plan is intended to act as a service provider to that school or district and to use the information only for authorized educational purposes. We do not use school-provided education records for unrelated commercial purposes, and we do not sell student information.
School control and authorized use
Where FERPA applies, the school or district remains responsible for determining whether and how student information may be shared with Launch Plan. Launch Plan will handle such information consistent with applicable written agreements, school instructions, and legal requirements, including restrictions on redisclosure, access, retention, return, or deletion of education records.
Parent and student rights
Parents, eligible students, schools, and districts may have rights under FERPA or other applicable laws to access, review, correct, or request deletion of certain education records. Requests involving school-provided education records should generally be directed to the relevant school or district, and Launch Plan will reasonably support schools and districts in responding to such requests as required by applicable agreements and law.
Sharing information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the website, manage communications, or maintain our systems, and when required by law or necessary to protect our rights, users, or services. Service providers are expected to use information only to provide services to Launch Plan and to protect it appropriately.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including student information when applicable. No website or online service can guarantee complete security.
